DEcIsion IN A LAND Case.—The Secretary of the Interior has decided that the mineral charac- ter of a township fs determined from the charac- ter of the greater portion thereof; that where a township has beon reserved as mineral in charac- ter, it raises the presumption that a tract situate therein, which has been filed for as agricultural, is mineral in character, which presumption the agricultural claimant must overcome by affirma- tive proof.
