JOHNSON’S RESIGNATION. Lieut. Johnson states that he went before the District Commissioners Saturday, by the sugges- tion of Major Dye, who preceded him with the Heutenant’s resignation, in which he asked for thirty days’ leave of absence with pay. The preal- dent of the board stated to him that there were no criminal charges against him at all. The Com- missioners were satisfled with the services he had rendered the District, and thanked him.
