DEATH OF CHARLES DRAEGER FROM A BLOW ON THE HEAD. ‘Tre Star of Monday evening last mentioned the finding of the apparently lifeless body of a man the day before (Sunday) tna pool of water near the corner of 1st and Boundary streets northeast. Officers Sullivan and Slack went to the place and found it was Charles Draeger, whose residence Was 212 G street northeast, a clerk. They took hita to the station house and Dr. Purvis was sum- | mened. HUNG Jury IN Cantrex’s Case.—The second jury which has been empaneled in the county court disagreed yesterday afternoon in the case of Frank Cartter, of Washington, charged with hulsance, in bringing night soll from _ Washington to Alexanaria county. ‘The first jury was taken from the county and disagreed, the second was taken from Alexandria city and that has disa- greed.
