Ave. From the O14 World. From the great London (Eng.) Times, Among the many specifics introduced to the public for the cure of dyspepsia, indigestion, derangements of various kinds, and asa general family medicine, none have met with such genuine appreciation as Hop Bit- ters. Introduced to this country but comparatively short time sinoe, to meet the great demand for s pure, safe and perfect family medicine, they have rapidly increased in favor, until they are, without question, the most popular and valuable medicine known. Iis world-wide renown is not due to the advertising it has ‘recetved: it is famous by ree- son of its inherent virtues. It doss.all that is claimed for it. It discharges its curative powers without any of the evil effects of other bitters or medicine, being per- fectly safe and harmless for the most frail woman, smallest child, and weakest invalid to use. Few are the homes, indeed, where the great discovery has not already been hailed es a deliverer aud welcomed as a friend. It does what others affevt to do. Composed ot simple materials, itis a marvel of delicate and success- ful combination. Nothing is wanting, Every ingre- dient goes straight to the mark at which it is alméd, and never fails, Pleasant to the palate, agreeable to the stomach, and thoroughly effective as a oure, it has won for itself the confidence of all.—Times, London, Eng. A FEW UNSOLICITED LETSERS FROM THOU- SANDS RECEIVED. Feb. 9, 1882. T have tried experiments on myself and others with ‘Hops Bitters, and can easily recommen them as a Pleasant and efficacious medicine. Ihave fonnd them ‘specially useful in cases of congestion of the kidneys, a8 ‘well as ia bilious derangements. Rev. J. Mizner, M. A., Rector to the Duke of Edinburgh. U.S. Consulate, MancnEsTER, ENG., Nov. 8, 1882, " Gentlemen:—Since writing you of the great benefit I had derived from taking ‘ ‘Hop Bitters," I gave a friend sbottle, who had been suffering much from dyspepsia and sluggish liver, and the change was marvellous; he ‘appeared another bein altogether. He had tried sev- eral other remedies without any benefit. I could name over a dozen other miraculous cures. Anrnur C. Hatt, Consular Clerk, Lonpox, EnG., Sept. 1, 1882. Iam pleased to testify to the good effects of your “'Hop Bitters." Have been suffering along time wit severe pain inthe left side and across the loins, and, having tried a number of so-called remedies without any benefit, I am glad to acknowledge the great relief I ‘have obtained from your medicine. CuaRies Warsox. Coronzsres, Exa., Aug. 18, 1882, Gentlomen:—I was troubled with s very bad form of indigeation ‘for long time, and tried many things in vain until I got some ‘‘Hop Bitters,” and on taking was quite cured, and remains so till this time. It is now three months ago since I was bad. Bru. From Rev. J. 0. Boror, M. A. Oct. 80, 1882. Dear Sirs:—I have lately finished my firet bottle of “Hop Bitters." Under these circumstances I feel it my duty to give this testimonial for the benefit of others, as Imay say Iam nowentirely well; therefore Ican justly and with confidence give personal testi- mony to any one wishing to call upon me. Yours truly, Heney Hat. Norwion, EnG., June 20, 1882. To the Hop Bitters Co, Gentlemen:—Having suffered for many years from -biliousness, accompanied with sickness aud dreadful headache (being greatly fatigued with overwork and Jong hours at business), I lost all energy, and appetite. Twas advieed by a fricnd inwhom I had seen such beneficial effects to try Hop Bitters, anda few bottles have quite altered and restored me to better health thanever. I have also recommended it to other friends, and am pleased to add with the like result. Every claim you makefor it I can fully endorse, and reocom- inend it as an incomparable tonic. Yours faithfully, 8. W. Fitz. FROM GERMANY. KarTzensacuuor, GeRyany, Aug. 28, 1881, Hop Bitters Co. Dear Sirs;—I have taken your most precious essence Hop Eitters—and I can already, after soehort a time, assure you that I feel much better than I have felt for months, I have had, during the course of four years, three times an inflammation of the kidneys. The last, in January, 1880, was the worst; and I took a lot of medi- cine to cure the same, in consequence of which my stomach got terribly weakened. I suffered from enor- mous pains, had to bear grest torments when taking nourishment, had sleepless nights, but none of the med- icine was ot the least use tome. Now, in consequence of taking Hop Bitters, these pains and inconveniencies have entirely left me, I have a good night’s :est, and. ani sufficiently strengthened for work, while I always hud to Jay down during the day, and this almost every hour. Ishall thinkit my duty to recommend the Bit- ters to all who suffer, for I am sure I cannot thenk the Lord enongh that I came across your preparation, and hope He will maintain you a long time to come for the welfare of suffering mankind, ‘Yours very truly, PavLine HavssLee, aebr. nosler. FROM PORTUGAL AND SPAIN. Gentlemen:—Though not in the habit of praising Patent medicines, which for the most part are not only useless but injurious, I have constantly used Hop Bitters for the past four years in casos of indigestion, debility, feeblences of constitution and in all diceasos caused by poor or bad ventilation, want of air and ex- ercise, overwork and wantof appetite, with the most perfect suceses. I am the first who introduced your Hop Bitters in Portugal and Spain, where they are now used very ex- tensively. ‘Yours very truly, Barox DrFONTE BELLA.
