Poultry has been abundant and prices high, but the tendency is again down- ward. ‘fhe best kinds, however, meet with ready sales at quotations. This excessive and unnatural growth of hair on the female face is the most unsightly, dis ‘and an- ngving of all complexion blemishes. bes grows on the upper lip, in, eek, arms, tween the eyebrows, from moles and birth harks,’ and ever tails to attract attention and to excite remarks. We sce it in the drawing-room, on the street and wherever ladies congregate. ‘The most barbarous methods have been resorted to in thepast for the de~ struction of this obnoxious growth of hair; depilatories, acids, plasters, the scistor® and razor have all been re- sorted to with the came result, and that is only to increase the growth of the hair. Any sufferer with this aftiiction will tell you that the more frequently these hairs are extracted or cut off the more rapidly they wi!l increase in number and strength. DR. VAN DYCK, Dermetologist. is pleased to an- nounce that he has pertected a treatment (and the «nly treatment in the world) that will permanently and for- ever remove superfiuous hair.. The doctor operates ‘upon every separate hair and completely destruys the root This is indeed one of the greatest modern scientific victories, and is sure and certain to accomplish the de- sired result. Dr. Van Dyck cau take the most hairy face, and by his method freeit as completely from hair ‘as tliatof an infant's.
