Pouics Covet. —At the last session of the mayor's court Alice Coleman and Ceellla Jackson Were fined $2.59 for fighting at the new town north of the canal. Sarah Alexander was fined alike sum for indecent language in a public place, Benj. Jones and Albert Green were convicted of assault upon Horace Johnson (not of Washington). Green paid $5 fine, and Jone was taken by Capt. Kobb, who paid hts'flne, to the fishing shore. F. Bolten, James Williams, Geo. Harper, 8. M. Bond and P. 'T. Jones were each fined $5 for violating the ordinances of the city and left for their homes north of Washington. Rerowren’s Nores.-The funeral of the late Jno. H.
