THE MISTAKE WHICH COST A WISCONSIN MAN BIS UuFE. About 2:15 o’cinck this morning Charles H. Wenberger, a German, about 50 years old, fell from & window In the 4th story of Meyers’ hotel, Nos. 420 and 472, south side Pa. ave., between 41 and 6th streets, and was fatally injured. He and his son arrived here Saturday morning from Grand Rapls, Mich., for the purpose of purchasing some Property, having recently sold his farm in that State, He had deposited bis funds in the bank with the exception of $200, which he kept With him. His fali was into the alley, striking the cobble stones, breaking his legs, arm and spinal column. He Was at once removed to the Provi- dence hospital by the police ambulance, where every attention was shown him. His son, about 21 years old, accompanied him, tnd at the hospital thé father finding how badly he was injured, he sent for an attorney and made his will, leaving all his property, including Iife insurance money, to liis three youngest daughters.
