DESTRUCTIVE INCENDIARY FIRE IN CRISFIELD, Mp.—Two-thirds of the business portion of the town of Cristleld, Somerset county, Md., was de- stroyed by fire at an early hour yesterday morn- ing. The fire originated in the store of James Booth, and he was arrested on the charge of arson. There was much feeling against him and some threats of lynching were made. Seventeen stores and dwellings were destroyed. The total loss is estimated at $100,000, on which there is insurance amounting to $35,000.
