HEAVY DAMAGE AT 7 OUTH END OF THS LONG The freshet last Saturday week, which car- ried Of a portion of the north endof the Long bridge, greatly damaged the south end of that structure and the turnpike and railroad south of the bridge. THE SENATE PROGRAM. ‘The special Senate committe2 on maugural arrangements, consisting of Messrs. Pendleton. (chairman), Bayard and Anthony, have decided that the reporters’ gallery shall be reserved exclusively and entirely for reporters, and the Uckets for admission will be distributed by the regular Press committee of the reporters’ gal- Jertes.
