Already the Pullman Palace Car Company have orders for berths from enough people to fill eighty sleepers, who are coming to the inau- guration, and in these orders no organizations are included. The railroad companies, antici- pating that more cars will come here duriog the week than ever before, are making prepara- tions for a proper disposition of them, and the question of room 1s already a diMcult one. The Baltimore and votomac now have a double | track (excepting on the Eastern Branch Bridge) to Bepning’s. a distance of five miles, and con- siderable track in South Washington which Tay be utilized, and this will likely all be used. ‘The Baltimore and Ohio intend to lay additional tracks and make such connections a3 will make it comparatively easy to work the large number of cars which will come over their road.
