UNCANSON BROS., » Auctioneers, ~~ On Sick Headache, Nervous Headache, Neuralgia, Nervousness and Sleeplessness, Their Cause and Care, BY C. W. BENSON, M. D. Headaches of all kinds are nervous, whether called siok, nervous or constitutional headache, and depend upon one cause—nervous depravity or poverty. When the patient is very nervous it is called Nervous Headache; when dyspeptic it is termed Sick Headache; when bilious itis termed. Bilious Headache, and so on. Excitement, over- exertion, hot sun or bright light are all exciting causes of hesdache; but the real cause is the nervous system itself. Only those whose nervous system jis in a depraved condition suffer, while all others whose nervous sys- tem is in s normal state, although ex- Posed to the same exciting causss, escape. Now, why do my pills cure these diseases? Simply bs- caure they act directly upon the digestive organs and the nervous system; they ars nerve food, and soon put the nervous system into a normal state, and thereby remove the cause of these and all other nervous diseases. Their effect is upon the fountain head, and their cure is permanent. They can no more fail to nourish the nervous system than bread and meat can the general system. Thereforeacure is certain when they are properly used. They are Rot purgative, but relieve constipation by curiag indigestion, the cause ef it. Celery has only come into public notice within the last few years as a nervine, but scientific ex- periments and experience have proved beyond a doubt that it controls nervous irritation and peri- edic nervous and sick headachet> a marked de- gree. Buta combination of the Exrracr or CELERY AND CHAMOMILE, which has been but recently in- troduced to theprofession ana the public by my- self, has produced such marvellous results in curing nervousness and headaches, and especially nervous and sick headaches, neuralgia, and sleep- lesaness, that it has excited public attention and ewspaper comments, and therefore I give the fol- lowing information to the public to avoid answor- ing hundreds of letters of inquiry about them: My pills for the cure of headaches and nervous- ness are prepared under my supervision and intended expressly tolcure headsches, neuralgia, sleeplessness and nervousness, and will cure any case where no organic disease of the brain or spinal cord exists. Hundreds of cases of many years’ standing have been cured. Nomiatter how chronic or obstinate the case may be, a permanent cure is morally certain. This statemeat is made a‘ter Sears of experience in their use in the general prac- tice of medicine. ‘These pills are also valuable for school children who suffer from nervous headaches caueed by an overworked brain in their studies, and for all classes of hard brainworkers, whose overtaxed nervous centers need repairandseda ion. Nervous tremor, weakness and paralysig are “aing daily cured by these pills. They correct costiveness, but are not purgative. Directions on each box.
