ARGUMENTS IN THE CASE TO-DAY. To-day in the Criminal Court, Judge James, the case of James Stokes, indicted for man- slaughter in causing the death of Charles Kane by butting him, was resumed, and the counsel proceeded to argue the cause, Mr. L. Robinson, for the prisoner, argued that it was improbable that the death was caused by the accused butting Kane, for the fracture was hot on the forehead but on the top of the head, and the skull of deceased wa placed betore the jury that they might see 1. He claimed that the deceased having been left Insensible in the Tead if was not unlikely that a vehicle run over him Infiieting the fatal wound.
