Dec ‘ating the Graves Yesterday, ‘Yesterday was observed here, under the aus- Pices of the Southern Memorial Association, as confederate Decoration Day. In the afternoon the graves of the confederate dead at Arling- ton—2:3 in number—were decorated. The Board of Trade rooms was the depot for fioral contri- ‘butions, and during the day large numbers were left there. Three of Knox’s large coaches, filled with ladies and gentlemen, went from the cor- her of sth street and Pennsylvania avenue to Arilogton, where there were several hundred other people assembled.
