PARDON oF Jeupez WRIGHT.—This afternoon about 2 o'clock, the marshal received the Prest- dent’s pardon for Judge J. W. Wright, who was sentenced to fall on Saturday last for thirty di and, a release being made, he at once set at liberty and returned fo his home. Considering the age and intirm health of Judge Wright, and the exceptional severity of the sentence in a case of assault of tis kind, the pardon seems to have been proper, Within a day or two the Judge has been quite fil, and {i is doubtful if he would have survived tiie fall term of his sentence.
