Yesterday at,Reynold’s cotton press, when und bale was put in between the mighty Jaws ot the press and subjected to the squeezing process, there was a cracking, crushing soun’ never emitted by the cotton, and whea the weight had been lifted and the bale taken out it was discovered that of the 350 pounds about 50 pounds was cotton and the balance stone.
