AT THE MEETING of the ‘‘Anti-Alderney Dairy” mijk men at Mount Vernon Hall, Saturday night, there were present about thirty milk men. When the “‘anti-Alderney” element found they could not control the hog for their ad. by bolting = taken Cape sumers who never pay milk bills, and consid- ered how to furnish the best possible article to those who are willing to pay for It. ‘This was a move in the right direction on the of those Who have Alderney cows and who have not. The “purity, promptness, cleanliness and cash” systems of the Alderney dairy seemed to have been the main cause of affitction among the troubled minds of the meeting. “Alderney’s” ability to discuss the subject of how to produce achoice article of milk, and get it to the con- sumer as the cow gives it (sweet), and how to find customers who can reciate and will pay cash for such an article &c., convinced us that Mr. Ward understands his business in every department, as his fine outfits demonstrate, and that he will make a poor ‘stool for any of the disaffected to sit down on. ———$— Mr. Joan H.
