T. Browning, en- tered a suit against Timothy Brosnan, her son, and Sanitary Oflicer John Connell for $10,000 damages. Jones, colored, lar- ceny of three plain gold rings from the store of John Unsworth, corner of B and ith streets south Monday night last. Mrs. Unsworth testitied that this Boy, , with two others, entered r store and asked to look at some rings. She handed out a ring to the Fones boy, and another to one of his companions. She handed out an- other tothe third one, when they joined and ran ut the store and through the Smithsonian grounds and escaped. Last night Officers Marr and Leach arrested this boy and recovered two of the rings at a pawn shop. Officer Marr tes- Ufled that in the station house he found the pawn tickets in the prisoner’s pocket, showing that the rings been deposited in pawn. He recovered one at Heidenheimer’s and the other at Smith’s pawn shop; six months in jail and the rings returned to the owner. Chas. Jones Is a brother of Felix Jones, who recetved a like sentence this morning for pockeen ick: Ellen Green, charged with stealing a piece of dress goods from the dry goods Store of Mr. Chandler, on ith street.
