A Tramp Drowns HiMseLr.—At Easton, Pa., Monday afternoon, a tramp, name un" known, committed suicide by jumping into the canal. Before committing’the act he told some furnace men he was going to hell, and the nearest way to get there was by water. He refused to give his name. He was about 30 years old, and hailed from New York, and was ressed in a dark brown suit. THE CasE OF GEN. Fitz JouN Poxter.— The rehearing of the case of Gen. Fitz John Porter, who was dismissed the service for disobedience of orders at the second battle of Bull Run, was contiuued at West Point, N. Y. yesterday. Gen. Warren concluded his testi- mony for the defense, and Gen. Longstreet, of the confederate army, took the stand. He substantiated the representations -of Gen. Porter, and stated that if Gen.
