They were at once pronounced exceedingly poor and palpable counterfeits, such as no teller in this country wouid ever accept. The differences between good and bad notes were many and striking. Y., settled the Beecher-Tilton seandal to its satisfaction last night by formally excommunicating Mrs. Tilton. The members then had a general handshaking and congratulation among them selves. The report, which is brief, recites the charges against irs. Tilton made by Mrs. Barbara Walton, and avers that a Cory of these charges was duly served u} rs. Tilton, and that she sent a communication to the committee announcing that she did not desire to appear before them. The committee were unanimous in their recommendation of her dismissal.
