MURDER AT A P’IcNIC.—With one murderer awaiting execution, another awaiting trial, and now with still another under arrest, the county of Frederick, Md., is having an extra- ordinary visitation of bloody crimes. The last murder case occurred at a pieni¢ held by colored people near Adamstown, about six miles from Frederick City. The affair took Place at about 7:20 in the evenjng. Edward Ambush and Bill Dean, both coldted, got into a fight. Weaver Dean came to his brother's aid, and the two beat Ambush severely. Am- bush went home and Bot a pistol, and came back flourishing it about and deciaring his intention to have revenge. A friend of his, William Richardson, met him in the road and endeavored to. ify him, when Ambush flourished the pistol in his face and said: “ I’! shoot you, too, if you interfere.” Richardson, being a friend of Ambush, did not dream of his being in earnest and continued his en- treaties, but true to his horrid threat, Ambush fired, the bullet entering Richardson’s neck, killing him almost instantly. Ambush was arrested in his house and was brought to the jail in Frederick. He will havea hearing on Saturday next. Ambush is 30 years of age and Richardson about 25 years of age. Both are unmarried.
