THE SENATE COMMITTEE TO-DAY. ‘The investigation of the Freedmen’s hos- pital was resumed this morning by Senators Sargent and Eaton. Dr. D. C. Patterson, coroner, testified that he had been called to the Freedmen’s hos- pital toexamine some human remains about the 10th of November; was summoned by Lieutesant Johnson upona letter from F. E.
