A commu- nication was read from Health Officer Keene, Stating that complaints having been made from time to Ume of nuisances cveated by borses standing at the various terminus or standing points of the chariot and horse car routes in tb's city and Georgetown, and no- ices issued having accomplished only a par- lial lemporary abatement, he recommends that the subject be referred to a committee for luvestization, with the view to some itive uction by the board towards the perina- nent abatement.
