This morning Judge Wylle stated tuat the case of Bernard May (convicted of procaring &n abdertion on Tillie Donaidson) would be beard, after which the General Term would take a recess for three weeks (antil Novem- ber 5th) Toe business of the Criminal, Cir- eult and Equity Courts was all pressing, and they had decided to take this recess that such business should be expedited. Jackson alias Hitter Jackson, plead guilty to petit larceny, and Was senteceed to ten months tn jail. District Attorney Wells stated that he was ready in the case of Nimrod Norris, indicted or the murder of Richard Smith on the 4th of July last. Mr. Browne asked leave to withdraw from the case, but the court de- clined to relieve bim, stating that he would give bim an assistant. The case will be ca)led to-morrow. Patrick Mulverhill alias James T. Ryan alias E. M. Bryan, iudicted for forgery of the name of W_8. Thompson op an endorsement to a note of $150.
