GovERNMENT RECEIPTS To-DAY.—Inter- nal revenue, $201,194 96; customs, $893,757.92. NATIONAL BANX NoTES received to-day for redemption, $914,282. SECRETARY CAMERON and Gen. Sherman called upon the President this afternoon. Rumors were in circulation to-day of ad- ditional changes in the Treasury, but they have not been confirmed. TREASURER WYMAN received a letter to- day from Newark, Ohio, inclosing a draft for $100 conscience money. A MARBLE BUST of the late Ohtef Justice Chase was placed in one of the panels of the Supreme Court room yesterday. THE CREDENTIALS of James G. Biaineas Senator from Maine, were presented in the Senate to-day by Mr. Hamiin. THE PRESIDENT bas received a letter from the King of Italy congratulating bim and the country upon the occurrence of the nation’s Centennial celebration. MR.
