Clark against the Na- | tional Metropolitan Bank was decided yes- terday in the general term. Simul- taneously with their departure a boarder missed $35 In currency, two 20-franc and one 5 frane pieces, a black frock coat, and a pair of pantaloons. Information of the robbery was left at police headquarters. Deput Marshal Frey telegrapbed to Major Richards to keep a sharp lookout for the men, and as @ consequence the detectives were put upon the alert. Yesterday they were found at the Gerhardt House, on 4% street, by Detectives ‘eDevitt and McEl: » and were at once taken invo custody, and notice given to the Baltimore authorities of the capture. Detec- tive T. B. Hail at once came over, with an attache of the Bundes House, who, on being brought into the presence of the thieves, identified them. They gave their names as Victor Huffman, Philemon Flack, and Geo. Lambe. A portion of the stolen goots was recovered from them. THE REPORT OF VITAL STATIS™ICS for the week ending Saturday, October 9th, 185, was read, showing 64 deaths—37 white and 2 colored. Of this number 11 died of consumption, 3 tabes mesenterica, 3 whoop- ing cough, 3 typhoid fever, 2 typho malarial fever, 5 diarrhoea, 2 cholera infantum, 4 con- yulsions (infantum), 2 hepatitis, 2 Bright's disease, 2 old age. Of this number 25 were from one month to two years of age. There have been 15 marriages and 66 births. The mortality was 11 less than last month, or at the rate of 20.80 per 1,000 per annum; 29.58 per cent. of the deaths were from zymotic dis violence.
