HOW THEY AMUSE THEMSELVES THESE COLD RIGHTS IN GEORGETOWN Arother igvoiyen was held at the Martet House hail last night in the interest of he retrocession of the city of Georgetown and that part of the District west of Rock Creek to the state of Maryland. The meeting was rot very large, and was called to onter by Mr. Esau Pickrell, azet Mr. J.D. MeGill took bis position as secretary. Mr. McGiil said that the project, which had been started by a few, had nh met with ‘er- rible and malevolent opposition, and in view of that he wanted the citizens of Georgetown to assert their manhood and contempt of the lampo®ning which they had received from the people of Washington on the folly of re- trocession. He suggested that the officers elected at the previous meeting take seats on the stand. The chairman gave the invitation, and Messrs. W. D. Cassin, Joseph L. Simin’ and James Goddard, viee presidents, took seats on the platform. Mr. Joseph L.
