The latter, rather a tine looking boy, testified that he was in the employ of the Patent O1ii co; that yesterday afternoon, after ilaving received his pay and made a deposit in bank, he left tha book in the care of Dr. Clever; that his father | Struck him, and threatened that Dr. ©. would | get himself into trouble.
