Henry, is published in the Lynchburg Republican: Henry claims that when arrested he had on his person $15,219; that his money was turned over to a deputy sheriff and another official; that they counted the money in his pock st book in his presence, amounting to some $14, but when they discovered the bulk of the money, which was in a buckskin belt, in a small va: adjourned to another room, and refu: him witness the counting. ‘They remained out two or three hours, and retarned with a rec it, which they gave him. for $14,219, less by $1,000 than the amourt he claims tohave.
