The army of panic- makers absorbed it. Having learned that Mrs. Myers was apparently making preparations to get out of the way, the district attorney pro- cured her arrest as an important witness imme- liately after she had given testimony before the grand jury. The person whom Mrs. Myers now accuses of complicity in the murder is believed to be in this country, and Mr. Britton says that ~teps have already been taken Lo secure his capture.
