It also authorizes the company to construct a railroad eutside the limits of Washi: and town from its road to a suitable point on the Metropolitan or Washington branches of the Baltimore and Ohio road. > ARRANGEMENTS FoR THE INAUGURATION.— A mecting of the general inauguration commit- ke was held at the Governor's office yesterday afternoon, Mr. A. K. Shepherd in the chair, and most of the members present. The chair introduced General James F. Wilson, the chief marshal of the procession, who gave his views as te the manner of making the most successful display with the means at command. He re- quested that he be kept fully advised as to the names and numerical strength of the different military and civie organizations which may de- cide to take part in the affair. It was decided to extend invitations to the governors of states to visit this city, and that they be ed places in the line of march with their respective staffs Major Vanderburg was appointed one ef the members of the military committee.
