Zervondacki was brought into court and gave personal recog nizance in the sum of $200 to keep the peace toward his wife Lizzie. Since the incarceration of Antonio in default of his fine of $10, his wife has disposed of the household effects possessed by them, andieftfor parts unkrown. A frierd ot Mr. Z's came forward and paid his fine, and he was released, and started out on a search for Lis wite and child. THE HENAULT-WILLIAMS SHOOTING CASE. The case of the United States against Geerge Henanlt, charged with assault aud battery on Goorge W. Williams, with intent to kill, came up at Lo’clock to-day. Williams testified that he took a drink in the safoon yesterday and some conversation took place during which Henault got offended, and made an assault on nim, when blows tollowed, each taking a part im the scrimmage. Witness, after recetving several blows and scratches, broke out of the door and ran up sth street, when Henault fired two shots after him. He continued on up the street and took refuge ina livery stable. Mr. McCauley, who witnessed the shooting testified that he cautioned accused not to shoot, as he peared to aim direct at complainant, who wasin the same range a+ witness; witness dodged behind a tree-box to get out of the way. Dr. Steadman testified that he was stan at the corner, when Williams came running out of Henault with his face covered with blood; Henault came running after and held hig pistol in both hands, tuking deliberate aim, and fired twice at Wil- liams. Witness heard Mr. McCauley call out to Henauit not to ; heard nothing about the difficulty between them.
