EVENING STAR. Fan: Fern. AN ACCOUNT OF LAST MOMENTS. The last moments ot Mrs. Parton—~Fanny Fern”—were marked by the same caim courage that had helped her to win the many herd bat- tlesot her life. She bad long been afflicted with inflammatory rheumatism, and after her | return to New York trom Newport she never left lie down | her room.
