THE PRISONE! SENTENCED TO FIVE YEARS IN THE VESITENTIARY. * To-day, in the Criminal Court, (Judge Cart- ter.) Dennis Regan and Thomas Higgs (alias Hasson) were brought into court for sentence, having been convictedbef burglary in robbing Mr. Mankin’s house, in Georgetown. The pris- mers--whe are quite young men, not over 22 or S—being brought to the bar, Judge Cartter stated that their counsel had made a inotion for # new trial, wich he had overruled.
