Tre Brandy Maxvractvag.—The detailed sthtement of the spirits in and out of bondin the Vnited States on May ist, 1871, shows that Of the 963,000 gallons of brandy in the country, nt 161,000 fons is the genuine product of fruit, the balauce being compounds from dis- tilled spirits, Frvit Distitation-—The regulations of the Internal Revenue Office governing fruit distillations published last year are undergoing revision, and will receive but be changes except in the instructions for making survays which will be materially moditied. The revised regulations will be ready for distribution in a few days. The information received at the Internal Revenue Office indicates a very tavor- able fruit distillation during the present year. DistittEry Sratistics.—Reports received atthe Internal Revenue Office, show that 192 grain and7 molasses distilleries were in opera- fon on the Ist instant, producing 180,339 gallons of spirits daily.
