It is said to be a very interesting and effective comedy as performed by this company, and had a good run in Philadelphia, where it was warmly praised by the critics. Max MARetzer’s ITALIAN Opera TROUPE opens at the National Theatre this evening in “II Trovatore,” and asthe great tenor, Lefranc, appears as “‘Manrico,” and Briol, Lumley, and Reyna all appear for the first time in this city, there will no doubt be a rush of our music loving population to hear and judge of the capacity of the new combination.
