COMMERCIAL RELATIONS with Canada, it is said, now form the subject of deliberation in the Cabinet. The Canadian authorities have noti- fied our Government that unless the trade be- tween the two countries is so arranged as to be somewhat reciprocal, they will abolish the fishery license system to American fishermen and estab- lish duties on many articles of commerce now imported from the United States free. Wilson, of the Secretary’s office, Treasury Department, who went to New York ‘&@ few days since to investigate the affairs of the American Bank Note Printing Company, re- turned here yesterday and made his report to Acting Secreiary Richardson, the investigation having been concluded, as mentioned in Tox Stax of yesterday. The report is said to be satisfactory. ‘The investigation iuto the affairs of the National Company, now in progress under direction of Mr. Guthrie, of Treasurer Spin- ner’s office, will be concluded by Thursday next, it is thought. THE Witt 8 tue Late Awos Kexpaut.— The will of the late Amos Kendall was presented to Judge Purcell in the Orphans’ Court to-day, and was partially proven, two of the witnesses, Messrs. C. F. Brown and A. Sweet, testifying to witnessing its execution. The will is dated May 26th, 1868, and after bequeathing to a grandson £10,000 and his lands in the State of Arkansas, he makes special bequests to several of the children, and nominates his sous-in-law, Messrs. William Stickney and RK. C. Fox, a8 his executors, and directs that the personal ty be divided between his four daughters, and gives the executors full power to dispose of his real estate, and divide the proceeds among the heirs.
