It proposes to acknowledge the Holy Scriptures as the in- spied Word of God, and the Presbyterian Confession of Faith as containing the doctrines taught in the Scriptures; but it allows fall ireedom as to the methods of illustrating and explaining the doctrines of the Confession, which do not impair the Calvinistic system.
