The building is divided into three sections or Wings, the main building beinz 5y by 45, of four stories, surmounted by a cupola ls feet -quare and 16 feet in beight, on which a cross 20 feet in height will pe placed. Tne center portion is of three stories, 64 feet in length, snd 95 feetin width, and the east wing 24 by 26 feet, of four stories, surmounted by a small cupola. In the house there are four large wards 49 by 22 feet, and seventeen private wards, which will accommodate from two to three hundred patients, and the whole house is very conveniently arranged. There are bath rooms and water closets on each floor, aud the enoure building 1s heated by steam. ‘The work has been dene more with an eye to comfert than show, but thé wood-work throughout is being grained, and the brick- work will be cleaned. while the sills and beads of the 112 windows which are in the building, will be painte ud sanded to imi- tate brown stone.
