Henrietta the Winner—Voyage made m Less thon Fourteen Days—Casualty eon the Fleetwing The yacht Henrietta, Mr. James Gordon Bennett, yr, owner and commander, has won the grear ocean race. She arrived at Cowes, je of Wight, at 45 minutes past five o'clock bristmas afternoon. and was received with Joud cheers. The Fleetwing arrived at two o'clock next morning, and the Vesta at balf-past three. ‘Tbe Board of Admiralty gave orders that ev- ery facility should be rendered the yachts hy the officers on duty inthe En; b Channel. ‘The members of the Royal Yacht Squadron extended a magnificent and cerdial reception to the crews of the yachts. The Fleetwing bad a rongh passage. Six seamen were washed off the bowsprit while furling the jib ina gale. The Vesta reports nothing else of moment on the passage. All on bourd both boats are well. She made the trip in the unprecedented time of thirteen days and twenty-(wo hours, mean time. AM on board are safe and well. A private dispatch from the Henrietta staves that the yacht experienced strong westerly gales. On the eighth day ont, she hove to for twelve hours ina heavy gale. During the re- mainder of the voyage the weather was more moderate, with topping seas. The Henrietta bebaved <plendidiy, andevery person on board made the voyage as comfortably as it on a steamer.
