SENATE.—Yesterday afternoon— At 436 P A Message Was received from the House announcing the passage by that body, by a two-thirds vote over the President's veto, ot the Freedmen’s Bureaa bill Mr. Wilson moved that the Senate proceed to the consideration of the bill as returned by the President with bis objections. Mr. Johneon asked if it was the intention to dispose of the bill to-day Mr. Wilson replied in the affirmative. Mr. Johnson said be saw no reason for that There was no more reason for disposing of this at once than of other veto messages which bad been lying on the table for months. He would move to postpone it until to-morrow. The mouen of Mr. Wilson to take up was agreed to, when the message was read, with the vote of the House of Representatives on the bill returned. When the reading was concluded, the Chair announced that the question was, sball the bill ed notwithstanding the objections of the sident! Mr. Jobnson moved to postpone the further consideration of the bill until to-morrow, upon which he nded the yeas and pays. The motion was disagreed to.
