CasTERBURY.—The usaal bill of ballet,songs, And cegro performances. omens Tae Brens Festtyar.—The Burns Club of the city last evening held their annual festival at the Owen House, Pennsylvania av., incom- memoration of the one hundredth and seventh anniversary of the birthday of Kobert Burns. ‘The room was draped with national flags, and the chandeliers were handsomely trimmed with evergreens. Above the chair were placed por- traits of Burns, Hogg, and Mary Queen of Scots, and about the room were hung some of Gardner's magnificent photographs of Presi- dent Jobnson, the late President, Mr. Lincoln, General Grant, Secretary Seward, and other distinguished persons. : At the north end of the platform Heald’s American Brass Band was stationed on 2 plat- form and added not & little to the pleasures of the evening, performing appropriate music, including many of the Scottish airs.
