The Tmusical proficiency of this school has, with its other merits. always attracted attention at its exhibitions, but it was hardly supposed by its warmest adwirers that sufficient musi- cal material and attainment could be tound in | a single school to successfully bring out a piece of musical composition of the class of the “Flower (Jueen;’ hence the surprise so gen- erally expressed upon the excellence of the performance on Wednesday night.
