CANAL.—The boats are not arriving as rap- idly as a few days ago, but they are eoming in daily, and a large number are on the way with various cargoes, but principally of coal. The coal banks at the wharves do not increase in size, there being vessels enough in waiting to receive the cargoes from the canal boats as fastas they arrive, 1nd immediately transfer the coal to the northern depots, where it has been greatly needed. The arrivals are the Potomac, 113 16 tons coal, to New Hope Oo.; A. Schelt and Wm. Darrom, 205.11 tons, to Ameri- ean Co.: Onward, 19.14 tons, to Borden Co.; Edwin Lynch, 112.12 tons, to Baltimore and Hampshire Co; Mollie, 1108 tons, to Central Co.
