The latter ‘went to the place indicated, and after removing @ little earth, found an old gaiter and bag which appeared to be full of gold and silver— @ large quantity being in English sovereigns, which they immediately carried off. The entire amount found has not been definitely ascer- posed to have been over two thousand dollars.
