Donn, well-known for many years ‘Bs a justice of the peace of this county, died at his residence on H street, between 4th and 5th, aiter av illness of ten days, aged 63 years, his disease being a complication of pheumonia and typhoid fever. Mr Donn has always been highly esteemed #s a citizeh, and his consistency as a friend qaade nim especially a favorite with workiug- amen, he being himself originally a mechanie— a cabmet-maker—and never ashamed to owa his calling. Mr. lonn was for over twenty years a prompt and efficient magistrate. Asa Yoyal citizen he stood cut from the first dawn- ing of treason firm and undaunted. He leaves 3 large family—one of his sons is now serving | as a heutenant in the Ist D. ihe others occupy honorable positions in this community. He was one among the oldest members of Washington Lodge I. 0.0. F., and was prominent in Wat popular order. His tuners! will take place from his late residence to-morrow, at 2 o’ciock p. m.
