Se Mavame WILTON’s Brokes Ur.—Yosterday afternoon, Sergeant Hurley, with a squid of police of the First Ward, paid a visit to the well known establishment No. 51 Pennsylvania avenue, in compliance with a special order from Chief of Police Webb, and arrested all the inmates found therein. They wera escorted to the First Ward Station, where they gave their names as follows. Julia Sinclair, whoappeared to ve the matron of the establishment, Florence G. Harris, Ada Shepherd, Lizzia Richards, Elizabeth A. Forrest, and Cordelia Moeliyvilte. Justicé Drury erdered each to give security for | their good behavior. The cry of «stop thief” was raised, and the fugitive was knocked down by, agentieman, who fell upon him and held him till he was taken by the police of the Third Ward. Atthe station house the examination of the case and the appearance of the man ex- cited the suspicion of Sergt Skippon, that ho Was the one who jerked a money drawer from the hand of a lady (Miss Mary Phillips) some time ago, and escaped with it. The lad ‘was sent for and identified him as the man. Te gave his name as John MecCoovey, and was Mr. Bigley took his picture, and he has since been Tecognized as one of the « Short Boys” of Troy.
