ADAMS. i corner Kighth and L sts. north, AFFAIRS IN GEORGETOWN. {Correspondence of the Star.] Grorcrtows, D. O., Jan. 2, 1962. Wm. Laver and — Gray, night watchmen at the Washington Aqueduct Bridge across Rock Creek, on Iast Saturday evening shut thein- selves in and locked the door of apartment contsining the water force-pump under the abutment ((: town aide) of the bridge, and falling asleep, they were nearly suffocate: by the gas from the coal stove pipe, which had become disconnected. Mr. King, the superin- tendent, succeeded in getting them out in an ineensible state In the open air they soon commenced to revive, and are now doubtless doing well. Arrivale—Sckrs.
