Mr. Claxton was called to the chair, and Mr. WP. Drury was made secretary. Ow motion of Mr. Speiding. a committee of Seven was appointed to constitute a ward finance 5 ittee. for the pur; ising the necessary proecute the election. to prepare tickets, and also whose duty it was made to appoint two good challengers at eacl_pree y of election.
