Tue Uxton Prayer Meetines are held with coutinued interest. During last week the daily afternoon gatherings which were held at (Dr. Gurley’s) F street Presbyterian church were well attended, and titable to all concerned. Al- though the daily meetings whieb have been held in this city for the last xeven weeks have not yet been marked by any excitement such as has cbar- acterized similar meetings elsewhere, yet acon- siderable number of conversions of a genuine character have taken place. Atthe meeting held at the F street church on Saturday afternoon last the Rev.
