Fause.—The local editor of the Evening Star, of Thursday last, speaking of the ‘tri umph of the friends of the constitution over that party of sectionalism and disunion,”’ says if that party (the American) had triumphed, it heaviest blows would have been aimed at the prosperity of our beloved city.”” The lo- ca izer is talking about that of which he knows nothing. —Organ of yesterday.
